1st Security provides a wide scope of security guard training including all courses mandated by the NYC Division of Criminal Justice Service. The requirments for certification and licensing for unarmed or armed security guard training are provided in the course curriculum.
Our instructors are licensed by the NY State Division of Criminal Justice Service as armed guard instructors. Our instructors are all active or retired law enforcement officers.
For organizations interested in a training associate, we are approved by workforce, HRA, VESID, and have NY State approved vendors with a current Vendex, along with department of education approved NYCHA/HUD contractors and sub-contractors.
